Terms of service.

EcoChamber is a digital logbook for community gardens. It's built and maintained by a small team and is currently in early access. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to the terms below.

Who we are

EcoChamber is operated by an informal collective of gardeners and software builders. You can reach us at ecochamberdao@gmail.com.

Your account

• You must provide an accurate email and a display name when signing up.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
• You can edit or delete your account at any time from the account page.

How you can use EcoChamber

You can use EcoChamber to:

• Create a chamber for a community garden you steward.
• Log tasks, check-ins, harvests and plants for a chamber you belong to.
• Upload photos of the garden, plants and work being done.

You agree not to:

• Post content that's unlawful, harmful, harassing or misleading.
• Upload media you don't have the right to share.
• Attempt to access other accounts, scrape the service or disrupt it for others.

Content you post

You keep ownership of the text and photos you upload. By posting content into a chamber, you grant EcoChamber and the other members of that chamber a non-exclusive licence to display it within the service. If you delete a piece of content or your account, we remove the content from the service.

Roles inside a chamber

Each chamber has a chair (the gardener who set it up). Chairs can edit the chamber, add or remove tasks and plants, approve volunteer check-ins, and manage who's listed as a member of that chamber. Chairs are responsible for the content posted to their chamber.

The service is provided as-is

EcoChamber is early-stage and provided “as is”, without warranty. We do our best to keep your data safe and the service running, but we can't guarantee uptime, that features won't change, or that data loss will never happen. Keep a copy of anything that matters to you outside of EcoChamber.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, abuses the service, or puts other users at risk. Where we can, we'll explain why and give you a chance to respond.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as EcoChamber evolves. When we do, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know by email.
