My mom has always gardened as long as i remember— always finding a way to mention her home up a country in Jamaica.
I have always liked plants as much as the next kid, picking flowers and making mud pies~ these instincts came naturally to me as they do to many children…
Then I grew up. Talking to trees eventually turned to talking to telephones with online friends then to peers I went to school with.
I remember a photoshoot i did with a friend that changed my life forever.
She warned me that they are not to be trusted because it wasn't from a supermarket. I felt something deep within me shift to the realization some of society is so disconnected with their source of food. we did try it and it was as tart as a sour-patch kid.
so that inspired me to use this experience as a muse . I knew that desertification was a growing problem and food deserts still existed though food waste is a prominent problem, so i created Eco Chamber.
